AEIOU Energy Audit

Mar 31

“The average person puts only 25% of his energy and ability into his work. The world takes off its hat to those who put in more than 50% of their capacity, and stands on its head for those few and far between souls who devote 100%.”
- Andrew Carnegie
(Philanthropist and steel industry leader,
1835-1919)

  1. Think back to yesterday and consider when you had high and low energy points over the course of the day. You could also observe your energy as you go through today.
  2. How do these highs and lows relate to your situation at the time:
       Activities: What were you doing?
Environments: Where were you? Indoors, outdoors, work?
Interactions: Wh o was with you?
Objects: Were you using tools, a personal device,  or equipment?
Uniqueness: Was this a novel moment or something you do regularly?
3.   Optional: You can visualize your energy curve on a simple graph with
energy as the vertical axis and your day along the horizontal axis.
